Since 1873, this exceptional American stone has been quarried in Marble, Colorado. As one of the great white-veined marbles, it was a natural choice for many classically inspired structures, including much of the Lincoln Memorial, which gave its name to this marble: Lincoln Calacatta. Characterized by a clean white background with soft but distinct charcoal-grey veining, this is an all-American marble with great character and beauty. Stocked in 12" × 24" honed field tile and honed, polished, or dual-finish slabs.
